It is a common perception that dogs will always be charming no matter what they look like. Their cute eyes may melt you, and their soft yelps and barks will always make you go, “Awwww!” Just when you thought that your canine pals couldn’t get any cuter, one puppy will prove you wrong.
One puppy at a foster home in Dallas captivated the Internet with her unusual facial mark. Her upper mouth was lined with black marking, making it look like that she had a mustache. And it was super cute! Just proves that there is someone who could sport a ‘stache better than Charlie Chaplin.
Meet “Salvador Dolly”
Named after the famous Spanish surrealist painter, Salvador Dali, the dog was fondly called Salvador Dolly. This was due to the upper lip marking that resembled the pointed mustache of the iconic painter.
Some people, however, wondered why the dog was not named Salvador Doggy. Either way, they still find her really delightful.
People were quick to react to the adorable puppy. One netizen even remarked that they couldn’t get enough of Salvador Dolly’s cuteness!
Looking for her forever home
Salvador Dolly was a mixed puppy initially kept with her mother and ten other siblings. The vice president of the shelter where Salvador Dolly stayed said that they were happy to rescue her together with her family.
The shelter was trying to get as many pups out because they believe that the risk of puppies getting sick was high if they stayed in the shelter.
Once Salvador Dolly and her sibs were ready for weaning, the shelter would be sending the whole family to New York for adoption.
In the meantime, Salvador Dolly was enjoying her time at the shelter. Her handlers who were sporting fake mustaches couldn’t resist taking a picture with her.
