Movies and cartoons have always shown that cats and dogs are enemies. One will always end up being bullied by the other, which then leads to a disaster as the two animals run after each other – tables and chairs turned around, dishes and windows breaking, which leads to getting the whole house in such a mess.
Thankfully, that is only seen in the films we watch and in a few households. Fortunately, this isn’t always true for some dogs and cats living together. Believe it or not, there are cats and dogs who end up becoming best buddies.
Meet Beck, the German Shepherd, who didn’t know how to react when his family brought home a tiny kitten. They named the kitten Bleu, yet no matter how adorable the kitten was, they felt that Beck did not like Bleu the minute they were both introduced to each other.
Beck wasn’t capable of hurting a tiny animal. He just probably did not like the new addition to the family. Whenever his parents would play with Bleu, Beck would just stare from a distance.
Thankfully, Bleu had his charming ways of befriending the giant dog. Also, with the help and patience from their pet parents, things started to get better between Beck and Bleu. Beck soon realized that the kitten just wanted to play. After a few more interactions, Beck started to warm up to it.
The gentle German Shepherd soon allowed the kitten to play as much as it wanted. Beck would let Bleu jump on his back and his snout, and would let the kitty sleep next to him. They would also play in the grass together and chase one another.
It was certainly the beginning of a wonderful friendship.
