There is nothing stronger than the relationship between two brothers, and apparently, this goes the same for dogs, too. You see, these two pooches are like two peas in a pod, so it isn’t surprising that when one of them got sick, the other one was ready to serve him in any way. Now, their adorable bond is making the internet fall in love.
Ever since Jill Rogers decided to introduce Spanky to her older dog, Roman, the two had been bonding like real brothers. Wherever Roman would be, Spanky would almost always be seen tailing him and snuggling close to him. Over time, the two pups became an inseparable pair, and Jill could not be happier to see them get along well.
But the duo’s love for each other actually became more apparent to the fur mom just recently. Roman had developed a hematoma in his ear a few weeks ago, where blood had collected outside of the vessels. Jill immediately took the pooch to the vet and arranged a surgery to remove the blood clot.
However, his schedule was not until a few days later, so Roman had to endure the pain at home. During this time, Spanky immediately noticed that something was wrong about his fur brother. So in a heartbeat, he took the role of Roman’s personal assistant and began acting gentler around him.
One day, when Jill and her sister, Jackie, were out for work, Jackie decided to check on the two pups through the security camera installed in the house. There, she saw Roman resting in the living room with Spanky close beside him.
A few moments later, Spanky got up and grabbed the nearby dog bed. He then dragged it to where Roman was sleeping, as if saying, “You would be comfier here.” Roman obliged and moved to the bed.
Jackie was so touched with Spanky’s sweet gesture that she decided to upload the clip on Facebook. Watch the heartwarming video here.
as many of you know Roman has an ear problem right now and he’s absolutely miserable & not himself, so spanky brought his bed over to him to sleep on 😭🥺😭🥺😭🥺😭🥺😭🥺
