Brothers Roman and Spanky have always been the best of pals. Roman is the older brother and has been adored by his younger brother.
According to their Aunt, Jackie Rogers, Spanky has always looked up to his brother and followed him wherever he went. Roman is his safe Aunt.
Spanky can’t seem to do anything without his brother. He always wants his brother to be close by and stay near him. He goes up to him whenever he notices him away.
One time, Jackie noticed that Roman’s ear was swollen and uncomfortable. She brought him to the vet, and there, he was found to have a hematoma in his ear.
He was scheduled and prepped for surgery. However, the surgery had to wait because his ear swelling got worse.
During this time, she noticed Spanky had become incredibly attentive to Roman. He must have seen the discomfort that his big brother is experiencing.
Unfortunately for Roman, he needed to wait five more days before the surgery took place.
While waiting for the scheduled surgery, Jackie has been monitoring her sick dog by watching the Ring camera set up in their living room. She can see both her dogs and how they are treating each other.
What she didn’t expect was the most adorable thing a dog could do to his ailing brother. She saw Spanky pulling the dog bed next to where Roman was.
After watching that clip, the next showed them snuggled together on the bed. She couldn’t believe it and had to watch it again.
That was how much love Spanky had for his big brother. He was there for him and stayed with him, hoping his brother would be comfortable and healthy again.
