The Boxer and Pit Bull mix pup named Drools has had several articles written about him. The pup is a gentle and sweet dog who was surrendered to Conour Animal Shelter almost two years ago. On the pup’s 716th day at the shelter, the staff members decided to give the pup company by sleeping with him every night.
Everyone at the rural shelter loved having Drools with them, but they know that he would be better off with a family he can call his own. So each day, the staff members would always look for ways to help Drool get adopted. And soon enough, their efforts were paid off when Drools was taken home on his 729th day! Finally, Drools’ long wait for a family is over!
It was on the pup’s 727th day at the shelter when Drools met his forever family. When the pup saw his fur dad for the first time, he couldn’t contain his excitement at the prospect of having a family. And as for the pup’s new fur dad, he felt the same excitement as the pup, and he even said that he felt like he won the lottery. It took Drools’ fur dad four hours to drive to Drools’ shelter, but he was willing to drive even longer if it meant having the pup with him.
While Drools was getting to be adopted, some of his fur buddies also found luck and love on their side. Mason, Drools’ fur friend, also got adopted and is finally being showered with love by his new family. Conour Animal Shelter is very thankful for the adoptions that happened recently and hopes that its rural shelter will get more publicity.
While most dogs get adopted easily, some pups have to wait longer for the perfect family to take them home. However, the wait was all worth it for the patient pup. We hope that Drools and his new family enjoy a happy and fun life together!
