Surveillance cameras are used to record footage of things happening in a certain area or spot. Homeowners can monitor activities occurring in their homes while they are away using these cameras. Additionally, this technology also helps repel would-be home intruders. Occasionally, though, these cameras capture more than what their owners want, and a video we found online is no exception.
In Argentina, a woman named Julieta Firpo shares her house with two dogs. Caipirinha’s former owners tossed Firpo out of a car window at a gas station in Brazil when Firpo was on vacation.
After Firpo rescued Caipirinha, the two dogs, Luna, a 14-year-old blind Pit Bull, and Caipirinha, a mixed breed, became the closest of friends.
Thereafter, the two canines grew inseparable. Soon after, their friendship was put to the test when the security camera installed in Firpo’s backyard captured a potentially tragic mishap.
Luna, according to Firpo, has recently felt bewildered. It’s as though she suddenly lost her faculties. Her most recent incident, which occurred on December 19, nearly lost Luna her life. Caipirinha, her adopted sibling and dearest friend, was fortunately there to save her.
Luna was wandering in Firpo’s garden when she slipped into the pool by accident. The stressful moment was filmed by Firpo’s security camera, and what followed was nothing short of touching. Caipirinha, upon seeing Luna had fallen into the pool, hurried to her sibling’s rescue and endeavored to save her.
Initially, Caipirinha walks around the pool, unsure of what to do. She then attempts to seize Luna’s collar. The bulk of Luna prevents the small dog from lifting her best pal onto dry land.
Because Luna is blind, it is difficult for her to locate the opposite end of the pool. Caipirinha directs Luna to the shallow end of the pool where the stairs were. After Luna reaches the stairs, Caipirinha takes her collar and pulls her out of the pool to assist her in climbing out.
Since Firpo uploaded the video to Facebook, it has received numerous views and comments, with many people applauding Caipirinha as a hero.
