Jubilee is a mixed-breed pooch that became viral on social media. It all started when a lady at the Montgomery County Animal Shelter in Texas shared what she witnessed online. She happened to visit the facility the same day when someone came in to return Jubilee.
The woman overheard the dog’s owner telling the shelter staff that he couldn’t take care of Jubilee anymore as she was over-affectionate and always wanted to be by his side. The lady then took the canine’s photo, posted it online, and shared what she heard.
The post quickly spread, and people criticized the dog owner for what he did. But there was more to the story that people didn’t know.
Much needed help
What wasn’t shared was that Jubilee had serious anxiety issues that needed to be dealt with. She was also very destructive and needed constant supervision. Returning the canine to the shelter was the best choice as the adopter did not have the resources and experience to handle such a dog.
Jubilee is better off finding a new home that could address her issues. This would be the wise option so that she could have a higher quality of life.

Within days, people flocked to the shelter to adopt Jubilee. They were shocked to learn that the famous pooch was already with her new forever family. A kind woman already took her home as soon as she learned about the dog’s predicament. Her family has had a lot of experience with canines with anxiety issues.
According to Jubilee’s new owner, the pooch has settled in well in her home and has made a lot of progress with her new therapist and trainer. She even has a new dog sister to play around with.
Best of all, the people who wanted to take Jubilee home ended up adopting other shelter animals. The viral story didn’t just save one dog’s life.
