When you do all you can to raise a family, but life throws you a curveball, the responsibility goes to those who care enough to take it on. In this case, a rescue team rose to the occasion.
A turn of events
A mother dog in China met a sad fate when she fell to the hands of dog meat dealers, leaving three beautiful puppies behind – fortunately, someone cared enough to call a shelter and ask for help.
The caller told animal shelter rescuers that they regularly see the mother dog in and around an abandoned factory; the team decided to cover the area and started their search.
The area was huge, and it took some time to find the puppies – they finally found them in a small room under a staircase.
These babies didn’t know what happened to mom, but they waited and stayed put – these faces prove that innocence also serves as a blessing; they don’t need to know what happened to mom.
The puppies looked exhausted and a little hungry, but they appeared clean and unharmed – proof that momma dog did an excellent job of caring for her babies.
After getting rescued, the pups got a treat – heavenly milk that disappeared in a matter of minutes; who knows how long these babies went without food.
We thank the rescuers for their timely and quick action; without you, these puppies wouldn’t have made it – we appreciate you for your kind hearts and capable hands.
Fed and warmed, the young puppies huddled close and prepared to sleep; a little pat on the head and with a blanket wrapped around them, the little ones rested comfortably.
The following day found the siblings enjoying a little game of play and wonder – we’re thankful that you now stand a fighting chance with life, and somewhere in doggy heaven, we know your mom’s pleased.
