Danielle Sykora lost her eyesight at the age of two. She underwent surgery because of retinoblastoma which caused her to go blind. While not having the ability to see the world makes her sad at times, Sykora never felt alone in her battle. That’s all thanks to her loyal service dog, Thai, who’s by her side at all times.
Thai keeps Sykora’s best interests at heart. He makes sure that she’s safe at all times, and he does everything he can to make life easier for her. There are times, however, when Thai can’t resist the smell of food. Since he believes in going after what one wants, he bends the rules from time to time.
Trips to the mall
Sykora studies at Delaware Valley University. Thai would go there every weekend to accompany her. Whenever she had breaks in school, she’d ask her sister, Michele, to go to the mall with her. Shopping is one activity that the sisters enjoy doing. Apparently, someone else enjoys these trips to the mall, too!
Sykora’s dad was with her the first time she went to the mall. They enjoyed walking around until they ended up in a store called Cool Dog Gear. They sold a lot of interesting stuff for pets. Their items are so attractive that it caught the attention of Thai.
Tricking his owner
Whenever they’re at the mall, Thai would veer right into Cool Dog Gear. It became one of his go-to places there. Michele found this so hilarious that she decided to take a video. It didn’t take a long time for the video to go viral when she uploaded it online.
When Sykora learned about what her dog was doing, she didn’t take it against him. She loved him even more for doing it. Check out the video below:
My sisters guide dog always sneakily walks her into this store without her knowing 😂😍 I love dogs, man pic.twitter.com/UuE9wDN4md
